Now I always like Bonos even though their BBQ can be a little dry at times, but of all the Bonos this one does the best chicken anywhere in town. Moist, delicious, and perfectly smoked chicken, even the breast was tender and moist! If you're ever in the mood for a quick and easy meal then this Bonos is the place to go!

Extremely disappointed in the service at this Bonos location. We came in and some guest came in behind us. An employee came out from around the bar area and came up and did not ad knowledge us at all and grabbed the people behind us and sat them because she knew them. Kept waiting to be seated while several employees seen us and not one said anything like be with you in a moment. After waiting at least 5 minutes to be seated we finally sat ourselves at a booth that was not cleaned very well at all. There were several tables that had not been bussed for at least 15 minutes while waiting. Took forever to get drinks and appetizer. Finally the food came all together. The fried squash was overcooked. The pork sandwich was not very good. The bread almost was stale tasting and chewy the pork was also chewy and mediocre. The only thing that was good was the sweet tea and mac and cheese. Waited 10 min for a refill. Worst bonos experience EVER! Will not be returning to this location again.

My wife and I stopped in at 7pm Friday night. We waited to for almost 5 minutes. At least 4 Bono's employees saw us, but not one acknowledge us. We left!!!!!!!!

If anyone out there that knows me I know BBQ. I was asked today to do lunch with the bosses and Maple street shares a parking lot with Bono's. We walked over and the place is nice and wide open. Then we looked at the menus. Pretty expansive I will say. From pork to chicken to ribs and some sausage. I'm really not a big fan bbq restaurant when I feel and have been told I do it much better. I ordered a safe sausage sandwich which I know they jus heat up. It's Azar's brand summer sausage that comes with a little bit of heat. Now the sandwich was just that sausage and some bread. I did also get some rings which were pretty tasty but could have used another minute or so in the fryer. You know when you bite into a ring and the onion pulls out and is a little tough. That I will say that the service was good and my other table mates seemed to enjoy their food so all wasn't lost. This whole lunch kind of wants me to fire up the old smoker.

I've been coming to this Bono's since high school. It might be chain BBQ, but it's SO FLIPPINNNN DELISHHH! The best corn nugs come from Bono's as well as the ranch. Literally. Best ranch ever. Pulled pork salad with ranch and every BBQ sauce on top is my jam. I also love their growing support for the local high school, Bartram Trail, and a large assortment of colleges as well!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants as it reminded me of the hickory smoked meats in Kansas City, but the quality of the food and service have really declined lately. I had some of the toughest ribs that I have ever experienced last night. To top it off, they wouldn't accept the discount card (Boy Scout Camp Card which says 15% off entire check at Bono's) because they decided after the fact that if you order the daily special it doesn't qualify - a little deceptive in my book. I heard it is under new management so maybe that's part of the problem, but it is going to be a long while before I give them another shot.

Good stuff! We moved here to Jacksonville Fl and have been three times in three weeks! I love BBQ and this place has been consistent in service and quality. You can even watch the "Pit Boss" pull your food out of the wall smoker and chop it up right there behind the counter. There is always room for my wife and I with out 4 kids and this place is kid friendly I don't know who put on here it's not. This is for sure going to be a regular spot for us.

There are no good restaurants in this part of town and they could be making a fortune if they served quality food. It is so disappointing-

I would have given this place 3 stars cause I do like the food, I just dislike the fact the employees speak so ignorantly knowing someone is paying at the bar. I also dislike being scolded for asking if they got the Mac-n-cheese, "of course i got it, its in the bag," then having to walk back in to ask for it when they actually didn't include it. No I'm not black but still think I don't need an entire staff's racism with my meal. I did contact corporate but got a standard thanks for your comment on that. Food is good this location is not.
